The Medical University of Warsaw (Warszawski Uniwersytet Medyczny) was founded in 1809, making it one of Poland's oldest and largest medical schools, located on Żwirki i Wigury Street in Warsaw. It enrolls approximately 9,764 students across five faculties — Medicine, Dental Medicine, Medical Sciences, Pharmacy, and Health Sciences — and has offered English-language programmes since 1993, including Medicine, Dentistry, and Pharmacy. Its University Clinical Centre ranked first in Poland and 101–200th globally in Newsweek's 2021 Best Hospitals ranking, and the university maintains Erasmus+ partnerships with around 120 international institutions. - English-language MD programme costs approximately 13,700 EUR/year (6-year programme). Application fee is 20 EUR (standardised test path) or 24 EUR (MUW competency test path). A non-refundable place confirmation fee of 1,000 EUR is charged upon acceptance (partially refundable before 15 July). All fees payable by bank transfer in EUR only.
