Poznań University of Life Sciences (Uniwersytet Przyrodniczy w Poznaniu) is a public research university in Poznań, Poland, whose roots trace back to 1919 when agriculture and forestry faculties were established at Adam Mickiewicz University; it became an independent institution in 1951 and gained full university status in 2008.
