The Medical University of Lodz was established in 2002 through the merger of the Medical Academy of Łódź (founded 1950) and the Military Medical Academy of Łódź (founded 1958), and is located in Łódź, central Poland. With approximately 9,345 students, it is one of the largest medical universities in Poland, operating seven teaching hospitals with around 2,900 beds across 49 chairs and six research institutes. The university offers English-language MD and DMD programmes for international students and maintains research partnerships with institutions including Duke University Medical Center and King's College London. - 6-year MD: 15 100 EUR (1st year) then 14 900 EUR/year (years 2–6). Application fee: 24 EUR non-refundable (paid before MS Teams entrance exam). Paid via bank transfer to ING Bank Śląski. (approximate — verify with the university)
