Founded in 1364 by King Casimir III the Great, Jagiellonian University in Kraków is one of the oldest continuously operating universities in the world and Poland's most prestigious academic institution. Tuition notes
EU/EEA citizens and Ukrainian nationals (until March 2026) may study full-time Polish-language programmes free of charge. Non-EU international students pay tuition set by the Rector's ordinance, billed per semester; exact amounts vary by programme and are listed in the IRK application system. NAWA scholarship holders receive tuition exemptions.
