Lodz University of Technology (Politechnika Łódzka), founded in 1945, is one of Poland's largest technical universities, located in Łódź in central Poland. With approximately 10,300 students and 10 faculties, it covers a broad range of engineering and science disciplines including mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, chemistry, biotechnology, civil engineering, and information technology. Admission fee: 85 PLN (most fields) / 150 PLN (Architecture/Design). Tuition 2025/26 per semester (PLN): standard fields 2800–6500 PLN; English Architecture 8000 PLN; English IFE programmes — check apply.p.lodz.pl. 25+ English programmes. (approximate — verify with the university)

Registration/application fee payment: 7 May – 10 July 2025 for October 2025 intake (2025/2026 academic year)
Tuition notes
EU/EEA citizens may qualify for fee exemption. Non-EU students pay tuition per semester: most engineering programmes 4,500–6,000 PLN (~1,035–1,380 EUR); International Faculty of Engineering (English/French) 8,500 PLN (~1,955 EUR). 20 free tuition spots available annually (2 per faculty). Polish-origin students and Pole Card holders eligible for support programmes.
