Gdańsk University of Technology (Politechnika Gdańska), founded in 1904, is the oldest university of technology in modern-day Poland, located in Gdańsk's Wrzeszcz district on the Baltic coast. It enrolls approximately 15,600 students across eight faculties offering 40 fields of study, with particular strengths in electronics, telecommunications, informatics, civil and environmental engineering, mechanical engineering, and ocean/ship technology.
