The University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn (UWM) was established on 1 September 1999 through the merger of the Academy of Agriculture and Technology, the Pedagogical Institute, and the Warmia Institute of Theology. Located in Olsztyn in northeastern Poland, it enrolls approximately 15,600 students across 16 faculties, with notable strengths in veterinary medicine, agricultural sciences, environmental sciences, and medicine through its Collegium Medicum.
