Azerbaijanis are a smaller but steadily growing student community without the political charge surrounding Ukrainian/Belarusian/Russian groups. They're generally perceived neutrally-to-positively as one of many Caucasus/Central-Asian nationalities drawn by affordable English-taught programmes. Most friction is practical — visa paperwork, residence-permit queues — rather than social. Community life centres on university networks in larger cities.
