What it's really like
By far the easiest case of the Central-Asian set. Uzbeks are one of the larger and fastest-growing foreign student groups, and Poland deliberately recruits them (a NAWA letter of intent). The community is big enough that newcomers find ready support networks. Perception as 'Central-Asian students' is more neutral than the Arab grouping, though prejudice toward visibly non-European/Muslim people can still occur.
