What it's really like
A small, low-visibility community — Tajiks don't appear separately in Polish student statistics. Perception resembles other Central Asians (more neutral than the Arab grouping), but Tajiks face an extra logistical barrier: they must first travel to Tashkent or Almaty for the visa itself. Day-to-day student experience depends mainly on the city and university; with no large home diaspora, the support network on arrival is thin.
Community: Very small; Tajiks don't appear in top GUS rankings (estimate: a few hundred or fewer).
