What it's really like

Zimbabweans are a smaller, less visible community than Nigerians and largely fall under the broader 'African/Black student' experience documented in Polish research — occasional everyday racism and othering, especially outside central districts, but generally workable in international university areas. Anglophone backgrounds and English-taught programmes ease integration. With a small diaspora there's less of a ready-made network, so newcomers often plug into pan-African student groups. Visa logistics are arguably the bigger hurdle than social acceptance.
