What it's really like
Ethiopians are a modest community experiencing the broad African-student reality: generally livable in central, international university areas, with intermittent everyday racism most likely outside those zones. There's no Ethiopia-specific diaspora structure, so students lean on university international offices and pan-African networks. Two practical positives: Ethiopian Airlines' near-direct Addis–Warsaw route, and an established Addis embassy with a defined slot system — though the ~USD 235 fee and document superlegalisation are real friction points.
Community: Modest Ethiopian student/diaspora presence; no major dedicated organisation found (estimate).
