IRK # Apply via IRK — 47 Polish universities IRK (Internetowa Rejestracja Kandydatów / Internet Recruitment of Candidates) is the standard online recruitment system used by many Polish public universities. You create one account, register for chosen programmes and upload documents. ## Applying through IRK, step by step 1. **Create an account** in the portal linked next to your university below — an email address is enough to start. 2. **Pick the programme and intake** you want. You can usually register for more than one programme at the same university. 3. **Fill in your details and upload documents** — normally a secondary-school or Bachelor's diploma, a transcript, a passport copy and proof of English. See the [document checklist](/documents/). 4. **Pay the application fee** if the university charges one, through the portal itself. 5. **Submit and track the decision** in the portal. Admission results, requests for missing documents and enrolment instructions are posted there or sent to the email you registered with. This sequence is the general shape of an online application in Poland. The exact steps, required documents and deadlines are set by each university — the official admissions page linked in the table is always the authority. Never pay a third-party "agent" to submit a public application for you. ## Universities applying via IRK 47 Universities applying via IRK: portal link, application fee, deadline and contact email | University | City | Application portal | Application fee | Deadline | Contact email | | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | | [Alcide De Gasperi University of Applied Sciences in Jozefow](/university/akademia-nauk-stosowanych-wsge-im-a-de-gasperi-w-jozefowie/) | Józefów | [irk.wsge.edu.pl](https://irk.wsge.edu.pl/?utm_source=apply.edu.pl&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=apply-hub&utm_content=irk) | — | [no closing date published — check the university](/deadlines/ "University-wide date from the admissions office — individual programmes can differ. Universities do move portals — if a link is dead, the [university profile](/universities/) lists the alternatives. ## Questions about IRK ### How many Polish universities use IRK? 47 of the 142 universities in this catalogue collect applications through IRK, across 27 cities. 47 of them have a direct portal or admissions link, listed in the table on this page. ### Is there an application fee to apply via IRK? 13 of the 47 publish an application fee in the sources we captured; the 9 quoted in euro range from €20 to €500. For the rest our sources give no figure. Fees are charged per application and change between intakes, so confirm the current amount in the portal before you pay. ### When do applications through IRK close? Of the 47 universities on this page, 8 have a published cut-off that is still ahead, 1 recruits on a rolling basis, 10 show a date that has already passed and for 28 the sources give no fixed date. The dates are university-wide, so individual programmes can differ — the recruitment calendar lists every cut-off we track. ## Where to go next - [All application portals](/apply/) - [Apply via DreamApply](/apply/dreamapply/) - [Apply via University portal](/apply/university-portal/) - [Recruitment calendar](/deadlines/) - [Admissions contacts](/contacts/) - [Guide: IRK, DreamApply & own portals](/guides/application-platforms/) - [Search all programmes](/programs/)
